Super Science

Welcome to super science, here this site explains how super powers would work in real life without any flaws with the physics or the genetics or other stuff like that. Here at super science, this is where the impossible is made possible, fiction is turned into fact and science fiction becomes science (in a theoretical sense anyway). There are some things you should know, I only explain how super powers would work, I won’t explain the weaknesses and I don’t know how you would acquire these abilities. Those things your going to have to figure out on you own. For every super power I have little drawings of human shaped figures to use as examples of a person with the specific power. They will all be referred to as “subject” like in an experiment, so they will not have fancy super hero names. They will have costumes, most of them are just to help the subjects control and adapt to their abilities and some are just for fun. Alright, let’s begin!

Our super power for the week is super strength!

IMG_0039.jpg

Subject not only has strong muscles but has a strong anatomy as well. Subject will also have a tremendous amount of discipline in order to prevent breaking everything and everyone he touches. In addition to the super strength, his muscles also would have an elastic quality that enables his muscles to remain flexible even without having to stretch. In order to stop objects with enormous mass such as an airplane or speeding train, subject could strategically manipulate the surface area of his body to prevent punching a hole through the object instead of stopping it. Subject can jump 200 feet over half a mile in 2 seconds, lift two tons over his head at maximum and can clap with the force equivalent to 1,000 pounds of dynamite exploding. When subject jumps, he can control his strength to the point where he can land on his feet like that of a professional athlete and his feet and legs are durable enough to absorb the impact. When subject claps, his hands and arms are durable enough to absorb the impact of creating a sonic boom.,

Welcome back! Our super power for the week is super speed!

IMG_0067

Subject needs to gradually reach speeds of 500 miles an hour (MPH) every time she runs and needs to slow down when she wants to stop running. Five hundred miles an hour is the absolute limit of how fast subject could run. Subject would need to eat 10,000 calories a day to give her enough glucose (or generally energy) to use her speed and the subjects body can handle the food consumption because of her hyper metabolism. Subjects running is not only accelerated faster than everyone else’s but her bodily functions are sped up as well like her thoughts, healing, digestive system, reactions, etc.  Subjects brain works faster than a normal persons because he has enough neural synapses to accelerate his brain activity to be as fast as his entire anatomy.  When subject takes someone or something with her, she can go the necessary speed that’s fast enough to get them both where they need to go but slow enough to not injure or kill the passenger, the same applies to objects and small animals. In order to allow the passenger to breath, subject takes frequent stops when transporting a regular human. Subjects aging process would be one second slower than a normal human since time is effected by speed.  Subject has bones, joints, tissue and a lean muscular frame that are designed to withstand the constant use of his ability far better than a normal persons.

Welcome back! Our super power for the week is super intelligence!

IMG_0148

Subjects incredibly accelerated brain activity enables him to absorb and process information so much faster and more efficiently than any normal person. He is extraordinary in all fields of intelligence like logical, spatial, naturalist, linguistic, kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence. Subject can condition his thought patterns and general brain activity to mimic other people’s thought patterns and brain activity. Since Subject has powerful mental processing and cognitive capabilities, he can calculate and deduce the answer to almost any question and predict almost any potential result. Subjects brain has larger inferior parietal lobules than normal people which are the areas responsible for spatial intuition and related mathematical skill. Subject also has the HMGA2 aka the “intelligence gene”, has a lot more neurological synapses in his brain than a normal person and has an IQ of 190.

IQ = mental age divided by chronological age X 100

190 / 42 X 100 = 452

welcome back! Our super power for the week is heat vision!

IMG_0163

Subject absorbs the radiation around her and then her body converts it into another kind of energy and stores it in the cerebral cortex of her brain for future use. The lasers reach temperatures up to 1,000 Fahrenheit which is hot enough to burn a tree to oblivion in 5 seconds. Subjects heat vision can be controlled the same way a nocturnal animal can control their night vision. To create a red eye glow effect, she releases enough energy to make her eyes glow red to intimidate her enemies. Irises of her eyes are genetically modified to focus the laser beams in any steady stream she desires while in use. To activate ability, subject focuses intensely on an object and that sends a signal to her cerebral cortex and the nerves release the stored energy through others nerves leading out through her eyes and as soon as the subject stops focusing the nerves stop releasing energy.

welcome back! Our super power for the week is pyrokinesis!

IMG_0196

Subject has internal organs that are covered in mucus with thermophile like properties to keep them from roasting.  Subject not only eats slightly more food than an average individual but he also absorbs external heat sources like sunlight (which plants use to make energy), fire and heat into the skin which is then transferred into a different kind of energy that his skin and body can handle. This transferred energy is made dormant as well to prevent overwhelming his body and would remain that way until future use. To achieve spontaneous combustion subjects brain sends electrical impulses to his skin to ignite excess fat and dormant energy in his skin, the stored energy when ignited is transferred back into the energy it was before it was absorbed to be expelled and used for whatever he wants.  The skin is unharmed by the combustion due to the subject’s whole body being covered by microscopic, transparent plates made of fireproof elements like that of the bacteria found on the back of the Pompeii worm. Whenever subjects achieves spontaneous combustion, the expelled energy jets out between his plates.

IMG_0201

Like a camel, subject while combusted stores water in certain places of his body to prevent dehydration. Subject also keeps all major heat on the outside of his body and regulate minimal but slightly above normal body temperature on the inside of the body using a “different” metabolism. This is done by having a chemical buffer secreted throughout his body during combustion to prevent internal organs and the subject himself from being overheated. Subject breathes through his flames instead of his lungs while combusted. This is done by having the subject absorb oxygen into his body while also burning it in his combusted form. Subjects metabolism also prevents pain while combusted and regulates his body to absorb and process massive external heat and fire. Cytoplasm of the subjects cells consists of thermophilic properties to prevent animo acids from breaking down. Subject can use stored energy to project himself and increase temperature in anyone and anything the subject focuses on from any distance.

For sight, the Jell inside the subjects eyes have thermophilic properties and are one of the places where the subject stores water inside his body. Since the subjects head and face is engulfed in flames the light of the flames reflects off of the lens of his eyes creating a “white glow” or “yellow glow” effect.

Subject can not only activate but can also deactivate his combusted form like that of a Bunsen burner. The subject does this by limiting or “turning down” the amount of fire (energy) thats being expelled from his body by will. Subject can also control how fast he “flames on” or “flames off” and can even control his expulsion of his stored energy to make his body rapidly or gradually increase his body temperature without combusting. The subject deactivates combustion (flames off) by sending multiple signals from his brain to throughout his body telling his cells to stop combusting. His cells need a certain amount of heat to ignite so it takes a certain number of electric signals from his brain to ignite combustion, and it takes a little less signals to make the subject increase in high temperatures without combusting. He can control the speed of his combustion by controlling the rate of signals they send throughout his body. To deactivate combustion, the subject sends another set of electric signals from his brain (same kind that causes combustion) to snuff out the combustion or intensify it, it is known as the fight fire with fire method.

During combustion the subjects cells produce a by-product which comes off of the subjects entire body. This residue is used as fuel and enables the subject to perform a multitude of tremendous skills with his ability like fireballs, fire breath, fire streams, flight, etc. This is done by having the mitochondria produce special proteins which surfaces to the skin on every part of the subjects body. To create fireballs the subject places his hands together which causes the proteins to cling together and as the subject slowly separates his hands the conjoined proteins are then pulled on both ends by both palms of the hands until they break their bond with one of the hands and snaps into a very small but extremely flammable fuel source for a fireball.
For partial combustion, subject collects static electricity like most people. However when he wants to create a fire ball, for example, he focuses on his hand. This triggers the static electricity to mobilize causing it to travel to the desired body part (or parts) he wants to combust. This chain reaction converts the static electricity to kinetic energy. In order to isolate the combustion to a particular body part, an electrical impulse in the form of a ring simultaneously forms at the non combustible boundary.

Subject would have to live in an extremely dry, hot environment (like that of Death Valley) that can reach temperatures up to 134 degrees Fahrenheit and can stay over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for 150 days in a row. This allows him to store a tremendous amount of energy. This abundant energy source allows the subject to create concentrated bursts of energy through any chosen body part (mainly his hands and feet) which can be projectiled as a defense mechanism in form of fire streams in that could reach up to at least 200 meters and flight through propulsion.
For fire breath, the subject’s teeth are composed of ruthenium. Ruthenium possesses a special property that serves as a homogeneous catalyst that can convert CO2 into methynol. Under normal breathing conditions the ruthenium has no effect on the subjects breath. However, at will, the subject can produce a concentrated bubble of energy that can burst out of his mouth with extreme pressure (sort of like a burp on steroids). As the subject breaths out carbon dioxide and passes through his teeth the carbon dioxide is then converted into methynol and combusted as fire. Subject would also have to build an immunity and tolerance to ruthenium poisoning.

Welcome back! Our super power for the week is teleportation!

IMG_0234

Subject can disperse all her molecules, send them anywhere to their chosen location and then rematerialize in their destination. In a more detailed explanation, a build-up of electrons on one side of a molecule forms a slight negative force, which will repel electrons on nearby molecules, making them slightly positive on one side and thus propagating the dipole. The negative side of one molecule can then form weak bonds with the positive side of the neighbouring one. To disperse, negative forces turn into positive forces and visa versa which is done in a way that makes all the molecules separate from each other and meet each other again to recombine. This is done by having positive forces turn back into negative forces and visa versa to recombine back into the subject herself. The molecules are propelled by the energy from the electric signal sent from the subjects brain to wherever she wants to go. All the subjects molecules have a certain static that directs particular molecules to recombine with the same exact molecules they were connected to and go to the same place as they were in the first place, this process is called molecular memory.

IMG_0238
Molecules maintain a weak bond throughout teleportation, however existing bond between the molecules still exceeds that of the potential bonds that the air molecules are chapel of creating, this way subject cannot get a full body air injection. This also allows the molecules to have a way of avoiding certain objects and people in order to avoid merging with them. The subjects molecules are different from other people’s molecules so they don’t get mixed up during teleportation yet both the group of molecules are held together by a temporary static bond to keep them together. As soon as subjects touchs her accomplice, their molecules temporarily adapt to become the same properties as the subjects molecules during teleportation. This also allows the molecules to have a way of avoiding certain objects and people in order to avoid merging with them. Subjects brain sends a signal through out the entire body, letting the molecules know where the she wants to go then the she disperses and the molecules race to her desired destination. Subject is not conscious during teleportation nor does she feel pain before, after or during teleportation. Subjects molecules are small enough and fast enough to pass through solid objects during teleportation.

IMG_0237
Subject can’t merge with the clothes she’s wearing because her clothes are not part of her molecular structure yet they are technically touching her body so they would come with her whenever he teleported. Subject can consciously control whatever or whoever she wants to take with him/her when teleporting. Touching an object without the intent to transport it would not result in that object being transported. However, there is a limit to the load that Subject can transport. The maximum pay load is equivalent to the maximum weight that Subject can lift. Regarding distance, time and space, the subject has no limits which means that she can travel anywhere in the space- time continuum which establishes that Subject can teleport in outer space as well. The frequency in which the Subject can transport is a matter of endurance. For instance, the Subject might sprint for up to 5 minutes before having to stop and rest. This would correspond with how frequently the Subject can teleport before having to rest. Subject would also have to see where she is going or know what her desired destination looks like, by looking at a photograph or otherwise.

Welcome back! Our super power for the week is Invulnerability!

IMG_0166

Subject has a layer of a Kevlar-like compound imbedded under the first two layers of his skin making him impenetrable or “bulletproof.” Subjects bones also have a mutated gene that makes them so dense and big that they are rendered unbreakable.

Welcome back! Our super power for the week is telepathy!

IMG_0403

Subjects brain synapses are configured in a way that the subject and another person can both transmit and receive thoughts. They can mentally listen, feel or see the thoughts of each other’s thoughts at the same time without necessarily requiring other people to possess the same ability as her. This is done by getting her brain to operate on the same frequency (or brain waves/thought patterns) as other people’s brains. When subject mentally communicates with a person, her brain sorts out the waves that her and the other the person makes in both their brains. Since both of their brains are doing a multitude of things at once, subjects brain chooses the brain patterns that are most prominent and relevant. Then subjects’ brain sorts them into a certain order, magnifies them and transfers it to the same part of the brain that either one of them are is using. When subject mentally communicates with another person, their signals get transferred from the frontal lobe to same part of the brain that either person is using. Subject communicates with a person by thought by connecting to the part of the brain either one of them are using to have that thought.

Subject has tremendously so many neural synapses in the frontal lobe of her brain that it acts as a transmitter and a receiver, this would mean she has more synapses than any other person. Subject is only able mentally communicate with one person at a time, she does this by focusing on one person and match with that persons brain frequency. Subject encounters multiple frequencies at once if she is around a lot of people, but she usually is not able to communicate with multiple minds at once. However, the subject does have the ability to establish telepathic communication with a small group of people (up to four) if she has previously bonded with them (i.e. family, friends, girlfriend, boyfriend). Subjects is unable to deactivate her ability, much in the same way you can’t deactivate your other senses. Subject can only communicate with the minds of humans because anything other than human has brains that operate on a different frequency than humans. When subject attempts to mentally communicate with someone who speaks different language than her. Subjects brain and the other persons brain will instantly understand each other’s thoughts into whatever language either of them speak because thoughts are universal. Although Subject can not mentally communicate when is asleep, she is able to enter the subconscious mind of an individual while sleeping. In fact, sometimes Subject is actually able to experience the other person’s dreams and even interject herself within the dream.

Welcome back! Our super power for the week is elasticity!

IMG_0451

Subjects cellular structure is elasticized, allowing him to stretch any part of his anatomy. The cells would need a stabilizing enzyme to crosslink subjects polymerized cells and reset his body to default shape through organization, similar muscle memory but since it effects all the body’s cells it would technically be called cellular memory. In order to achieve cellular memory, subject would have to apply a lotion all over his body daily that consists of Alcohol, Sulfur, zinc oxide and Stearic acid until his/her body absorbed enough of the lotion to achieve cellular memory independently on a regular basis. This way, subject can send electric signals from his brain to throughout his entire body and any individual part/parts to it to become any shape he desires. To prevent any injury, the subject would need to reform his body at a slow and steady pace instead of just literally snapping back into place like that of a rubber band. If he jumped of the building he would simply bounce off the ground like a rubber ball because his body uses his ability to counteract against hostile scenarios even without the subject thinking about what to do. An example of this is if an armed mugger caught him by surprise and just shot him in the face with a gun his face would be pulled back through the side of his head and just revert back it’s original state and the subject would just blow the bullet out of his nose, the bullet didn’t pierce his body because his body has so much elasticity that it renders him nearly impenetrable. Though if he had to have a needle inserted in him or had to have surgery done on him or something he would have to relax his reflexive control over small areas of his body so penetration could be possible.
Also it would be quite difficult to knock out because whatever your hitting him in the head with would just bounce off his head. Subjects systems could still function even while he’s stretching, if subject stretched himself into that of a canvas his heart and lungs would still function like they’re supposed to even while they ate flattened. Also if he stretches his torso up the side of a build and eats something from the top his digestive system would still work, but if would take longer. Subjects brain sends signals that activates an enzyme which is also a catalyst that is present in the body to speed up the flow of blood in the body and the elongated limb until he returns to their original body shape. This is done by having the body adapt to itself every time subject stretches. Although the body can adapt while these amazing feats are done, subject can only do this for a short time because being stretched for a long period of time would result blood loss, then numbing and if extended for too long, probable amputation of the limb.

To counteract against this, if the subject hasn’t been left in his elongated state for too long and is able to go back to his original shape then he could do some exercises that would return circulation to his body and limbs. Rapid change in temperature can effect the subject negatively, the subjects body will behave just like rubber so if the subject is exposed to extreme heat he will lose control of his ability and if he is exposed to extreme cold subjects body will become hard and brittle. However, one of the elements that can help subject perform his amazing feats is by controlling his own body temperature, this can also be used to help counteract subjects “weakness” against rapid changes in temperature to keep him from either “melting” or “freezing.” Another weakness is if the subject got momentarily tangled or ensnared in his own limbs but then subject could just unravel himself with a few jerks and it wouldn’t be a problem anyway more. Despite the fact that the subject has rubber-like qualities, he can not actually insulate or conduct electricity. Subject would just get electrocuted like everyone else that’s normal. Subjects maximum stretching limit is 345,000,000 miles, this is enough to wrap around the earth 1.3 times and at that point he would be experiencing massive straining and pain. Subjects body would be 10 centimeters thin at this point. The same can determine how far Subject can stretch can be applied to how much the Subject can expand like that of a ballon. To pull off tasks like these subject would have to stretch (like a normal person) and do some exercises before doing to make performing the task easier. The same logic to determine how far Subject can stretch can be applied to how much the Subject can expand which can be done just by shaping his muscles to expand like that of a balloon.

    1. Sorry if it’s been I while since you asked me this question, but yes I will be researching more abilities. I haven’t really gotten around to updating my blog because I’ve been so busy with school. I’ll try to post new stuff this coming weekend, but it would be a guarantee so we’ll have to see. BTW I like how your interested in my blog, thank you, and also not to be technical but cryokinesis is already posted. Just go to the energy section on the home page. The other section I’ll try my best to get to. Peace!
